There are 7 principal feminime shapes for which designers base their fits. Some designers have a favorite fit model and thus their styles are pretty much designed for women who fit that particlar shape, to the exclusion of other shapes; Other designer base themselves on a few shapes and will design diffrent products for the various shapes. For specific products we usually ask the designer and his spec team about the shape that the product was designed to fit and that shape will be noted with our design comments. We designate these seven categories of shapes from A to G, as follows:

A Shape: Proportionately smaller hips and shoulders, ample bust, with a less rounded bottom.

B Shape: Proportionately broader hips, proportionately narrower shoulders and bust, with a tiny waist.

C Shape: Proportioned shoulders, bust and hip, softly defined waist curve, strong, straight shoulder line, and rounded bottom.

D Shape: Proportioned shoulders and hips, undefined waist, with a full tummy

E Shape: Proportionately narrower waist and hips, athletic and firm upper arms, broad shoulders

F Shape: P roportioned bust and hip, subtle waist curve, slim look from the side.

G Shape: Proportioned bust and hips, slim defined waist, soft rounded shoulder line, curves from every angle
